BASES

1. Organizers

2. Participants

• Any person of legal age who is registered in the Spanish Doll Convention 2026 event will be able to participate in the contest.

• Participation in this contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these general bases. Recognition as a valid participant is subject to compliance with the requirements.

 

3. Theme

The theme of the pieces will be "Wild West Glam", the works must be adjusted to the theme.

 

4. Work

• Contestants must set up their dolls at the exhibition site in the Melià Princesa Hotel on Saturday at the time specified by the Organizing Committee.

• The Organizing Committee reserves the right to disqualify any entries that have not been set up by the specified time.

• In no case may the works have been previously contested or exhibited.

• Participants will present the piece in their own name and representation.

• Each piece must be identified in the following way and in a sealed envelope with the doll delivered:

ü  Name and surname of the contestant

ü  Title of the work

ü  Alias or pseudonym with which you participate

ü  ID number

ü  Contact email address

ü  Phone number

• The choice, combination and use of materials is free.

 

5. Delivery dates

• The dolls must be delivered to Fito Rojo or to any member of the SDC Organization at the Melià Princesa hotel during the pre-registration indicated in the program, and at the latest during the Saturday morning registration.

• The Organization may reject those pieces that have been delivered after the deadline and conditions indicated above.

• In no case will the Organization be responsible for transporting the dolls to the hotel.

 

6. Awards

• Two prizes will be awarded: 1st and 2nd prize. The winners will receive a Barbie doll from the Collector/Signature line each.

• Each attendee, accredited to the event, will receive a ballot where he can write the number of the doll he considers worthy of the prize. The winner will be ruled after the count of all the participating votes.

• The prize will be awarded exclusively in the same act and directly to the winner.

 

7. Advertising use of the winner's name and data protection

• The Organization of the Spanish Doll Convention, at the moment of awarding the winner the prize, will obtain your express consent for the purpose of accessing your personal data and treating them in order to publicize the result of the promotion. The SDC has the right to publish for life with respect to everything presented. Participation in the contest implies acceptance of this clause.

• Likewise, the owner of the data may exercise the rights of access, rectification and cancellation, as well as revoke their consent to send commercial communications by sending an email to the following address: convencion.barbie@yahoo.es.

• In the petition, you must attach the following information:

ü  Name, surnames, phone number and / or email and ID.

ü  Right you want to request and content of your request.

ü  Address for notifications.

 

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

The actions of this contest are under the Spanish law.

BASES

1. Organizadores

2. Participantes

• Podrá participar en el concurso cualquier persona mayor de edad que esté registrada en el evento Spanish Doll Convention 2026.

• La participación en este concurso supone la aceptación plena e incondicional de estas bases generales. El reconocimiento como participante válido queda sujeto al cumplimiento de los requisitos.

 

3. Temática

La temática de las piezas será "Wild West Glam", valorándose en el fallo el ajuste de la obra al tema.

 

4. Obra

• Los participantes presentarán una muñeca Barbie o Ken OOAK ajustándose a la temática del concurso. Dichos participantes asumen conocer el concepto OOAK.

• El participante manifiesta y garantiza a la Organización de la Spanish Doll Convention que es el único titular de todos los derechos de autor sobre la creación que presenta al concurso y se responsabiliza totalmente de que no existan derechos de terceros en las obras presentadas, así como de toda reclamación de terceros por derechos de autor.

• En ningún caso las obras habrán podido ser objeto de concurso o exposición anteriormente.

• Los participantes presentarán la pieza en su propio nombre y representación.

• Cada pieza deberá identificarse de la siguiente manera y en un sobre cerrado junto a la entrega de la muñeca:

ü  Nombre y apellidos del concursante

ü  Título de la obra

ü  Alias o seudónimo con el que participa

ü  NIF o NIE

ü  Dirección de correo electrónico de contacto

ü  Teléfono de contacto

• La elección, combinación y uso de los materiales es libre y correrán por cuenta de los participantes.

 

5. Fechas de entrega

• Las muñecas se colocarán en su sitio de exposición en el hotel Melià Princesa por los concursantes el sábado a la hora indicada por la Organización.

• La Organización podrá desestimar aquellas piezas que no hayan sido colocadas a la hora indicada.

• En ningún caso la Organización se hará cargo del transporte de las muñecas hasta el hotel.

 

6. Adjudicación de premios y fallo

• Se fallarán dos premios: 1º y 2º premio. Los ganadores recibirán como premio una muñeca Barbie de la línea Collector/Signature cada uno.

• Cada asistente, acreditado al evento, recibirá una papeleta en la que podrá escribir el número de la muñeca que considere merecedora del premio. Se fallará el ganador, tras el recuento de todos los votos participantes.

• La entrega del premio se realizará exclusivamente en el mismo acto y directamente a la persona ganadora.

 

7. Utilización publicitaria del nombre del ganador y protección de datos

• La Organización de la Spanish Doll Convention, en el momento de otorgar al ganador el premio, recabará su consentimiento expreso a los efectos de acceder a sus datos personales y tratarlos con la finalidad de publicitar el resultado de la promoción, utilizando para ello su nombre e imagen, sin que dicha utilización le confiera derecho de remuneración o beneficio alguno. La SDC tiene derecho de publicación de por vida con respecto a todo lo presentado. La participación en el sorteo implica la aceptación de esta cláusula.

• Asimismo, el titular de los datos podrá ejercitar los derechos de acceso, rectificación y cancelación, así como revocar su consentimiento para el envío de comunicaciones comerciales enviando un correo electrónico a la siguiente dirección: convencion.barbie@yahoo.es.

• En la petición, deberá adjuntar la siguiente información:

ü  Nombre, apellidos, número de teléfono móvil y/o correo electrónico y DNI.

ü  Derecho que desea solicitar y contenido de su petición.

ü  Domicilio a efectos de notificaciones.

 

8. Ley aplicable y jurisdicción

Las acciones de este concurso se rigen por la ley española. Los organizadores de la Spanish Doll Convention y los participantes, con renuncia expresa a cualquier otro fuero, se someten al de los juzgados y tribunales del domicilio del participante en la promoción para cualquier controversia que pudiera derivarse de la promoción.

2. Participants

3. Theme

The theme of the pieces will be "Wild West Fun", evaluating in the ruling the adjustment of the work to the theme. No files with contents contrary to the right to honor, personal and family privacy or people's own image will be published or accepted. In short, no file that is contrary to the law in force will be accepted. Both color and black and white photographs will be accepted.

 

4. Work

• Participants will present a maximum of 1 photograph.

• The technique is free. The motive must be a photograph in which a Barbie or Ken doll appears, adapted to the theme of the contest.

• The participant declares and guarantees to the Organization of the Spanish Doll Convention that they are the owner of all the copyrights of the photograph submitted to the contest and they are fully responsible for the absence of rights of third parties in the submitted works, as well as of any claim by third parties for image rights.

• The participants will present the piece in their own name and representation, being mandatory to present the printed work in the Spanish Doll Convention.

• 2 copies of the photo must be submitted:

ü  The first copy must be sent by email (deadline for submission September 27, 2026) identifying it with the following information: Name and surname of the contestant, title of the image, contact email address, contact telephone number and details of the photo.

ü  The second copy of the photograph (printed) will only consist of the following information on the back: Title of the image and details of the photo.

• The printing of the photographs must respect the following requirements:

They must be printed in A4 format. The quality of materials used for printing will depend on the participant, assuming the risks involved in presenting a low quality print. To have sent the email to convencion.barbie@yahoo.es before September 27, 2026 the participant photo in jpg format.

• The choice, combination and use of materials is free.

• Participants who do not meet any of the requirements indicated in this call will be automatically disqualified.

 

5. Delivery dates

Photos must be submitted to the SDC staff member in charge of collecting them at the Melià Princesa Hotel during registration on Friday, and no later than during the second registration on Saturday morning.
 

6. Awards

7. Exposure of the pictures

• Once the photographs have been sent by email, the Organization will analyze each and every one of the photographs received before exposing them for the failure of the attendees.

• The Organization will discard only those photos that do not meet a minimum of quality or that could result offensive.

• The Organization will not answer telephone calls or answer questions on Facebook or by private message. Participants must wait for the decision of the jury, which will take place in the celebration of the Spanish Doll Convention 2026. Any questions on these bases can be resolved through the email convencion.barbie@yahoo.es.

• The participant accepts that their photograph is visible on the official Spanish Doll Convention website, as well as on their social channels of the contest (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, etc.). The Organization of the Spanish Doll Convention will not use these images for commercial purposes, but if necessary, they can be used to publicize the event. In addition, the ACBE will have the right to publish the works presented for life.
